I was entertained and laughing the majority of the time. Over the top gore, ridiculous plot, Theo James is nice to look at, and some insanely impossible (but satisfying) kill scenes from start to finish. Leaning more dark comedy than horror though.

Wild at Heart 1990
Still my favorite Lynch film. Diane Ladd is a force, Laura Dern’s energy and on liners carry the film, Cage is being Cage. But for a Lynch film, I think it’s pretty accessible to the masses. It’s weird, charming, a little fantastical and doesn’t go too deep into the darkness as many of his films do. The plot meanders a bit, but who cares? It’s fun, sexy, absurd, hilarious and ultimately a pretty great love story.
