I'm glad I stumbled upon this film. A great story and an engaging drama with brilliant performances by the lead actors. I loved how it ended—it kept me on the edge of my seat until the last moment, wondering how things would unfold for the ones I admired and whether fate would be generous to the one I intensely disliked. SVSC is still an unforgettable family drama even after 12 years of its theatrical release. No fuss, no gimmicks—just great performances all around. Call it a classic, or whatever suits you. It speaks for itself. Venkatesh and Mahesh owned those iconic roles. More films like this wouldn't hurt—on second thought, these kinds of movies are much needed in the current times.
I didn’t find this amusing—though I suppose that wasn’t the filmmaker’s intention. I don't appreciate these kinds of movies; perhaps, this film is not my cup of tea.
