Saw a reel that said this had one of the wildest twists he’d ever seen. Not usually a foreign film guy but Forgotten was pretty damn solid. Wild twist and worth the watch.

The Bikeriders 2023
So even though Tom Hardy and Austin Butler are great in their respective roles. The story telling was lacking. I still don’t know why Benny is the way that he is? They did a better backstory of the kid that wanted to join the club and eventually calls out Tom Hardy’s character than they did their lead? Bike riders is a terrible name and the movie is very mediocre with an incredible cast.

The Iron Claw 2023
As a kid in the late 80’s and early 90’ I saw wrestling grow into the juggernaut it became in the attitude era. My cousins and I were huge fans. To grow up and see the darkness that was shrouded in this cutthroat business that brought so much joy to my childhood is saddening. The Iron Claw is fantastic and gut wrenching. I don’t know if Zac Effron will get the credit he deserves for this role but he does a hell of a job making you feel the sense of family, loss, and pain that this character goes through. I loved it

I don’t like musicals! I didn’t want to like this film. Chalamet is making a statement as a once in a generation talent. Gene Wilder is my Willy Wonka. Chalamet doesn’t attempt to shove his way into the conversation but subtly and respectfully offers you to share in a piece of chocolate. From the opening scene homage is paid to the original and by the time the credits roll you’re left with an instant classic. Well done 👍🏻
