there is so much here and i could honestly write an entire book about what this show has to say about growing up, abuse, and the idea of a prince.
but i think anthy is truly the most iconic hater. at every turn she said "fuck nanami. i hate that bitch 😌"
and i love her for that.

I remember feeling really grossed out by this. Before I understood my connection (or lack thereof) to my gender, I remember feeling like this was super homophobic and I didn't understand why everyone was telling me to watch it.
Now, understand that I exist outside of the cisgender identity, I feel like it's the same old myth about trans women, claiming that they are dangerous men pretending to be women, taken to the extreme.
