Trap 2024
Josh Hartnett had a fun role that was wasted on a shallow script. Was this movie anything more than a comedy showcase for Shymalan’s daughter? That said, I enjoyed her songs. The tension of things on the cusp of going really bad but then nothing left the movie feeling really shallow.

A fictionalized movie based on the actual story of a Northern Irish hip hop group intertwined with the political movement to preserve the Irish language, admittedly was not sure what to expect. I dug it! The history was interesting, the music was dope, and across the board fun and hilarious.

Transformers One 2024
“High Guard, eject!” I’m a huge Transformers fan and watching the first trailer absolutely elicited negative mojo for being a watered down kid’s flick. While it certainly is an all ages movie and the first quarter of the movie carries that vibe, the pace and plot pick up quickly after. This might have had the best lore of all the live action movies. There are some great nods to OG Transformers that fans will love and I have to admit, I was Team Megatron for most of the movie. Recommend for the fam and the fan.
