Media literacy is truly dead in the water because privileged liberal arts students will watch this movie and write some faux intellectual bullshit about how “this is what Israel is doing to Gaza” or “this is a movie for our times” instead of realizing that this is how the world has always responded to Jewish suffering.
Reaffirmed my belief that the only Holocaust movies that should be made must be documentaries.

Watching this documentary as someone close to this conflict was challenging, frustrating, and deeply painful. My heart breaks over all that could have been, and all that could have been avoided. Yitzhak Rabin, and the (constantly out-of-reach) future he embodied, are sorely missed.
