This film is so bleak I almost had to turn it off before the bomb even dropped. It's told in a very naturalistic way which really sells the fact that there is something extremely unnerving about British culture, nuclear armageddon or not. I think to properly understand what is so sinister about this country, you have to tell a story about its unravelling and really put it under the microscope. It doesn't feel quite as personal as Children of Men…

Peep "TV" Show 2004
I'm a bit conflicted about this movie because on one hand I thought it was good (verging on great), and on the other I thought it was very try-hard edgy. It slips between brilliant social commentary and shallow attempts to shock and disgust. I see a lot of myself in this movie and I think what it's trying to say is unique and interesting, but there's plenty of stuff that sadly lets it down. Shoutout to the jacking off hand POV shot though, that was some seriously inspired shit lol
