Flat out miss. Caulkin was not charming or funny just irritating. Eisenberg’s character was weak and hard to root for. What was described as a funny dramedy, was really just boring. Ham handed character development and not believable brother/cousin relationship. Nothing established at all. Nothing burger ending was perfect for this movie.

A Complete Unknown 2024
Chalamet crushes in this entertaining Bob Dylan biopic. Though the movie doesn’t offer many highs and lows and can kind of drag a bit, I thoroughly enjoyed the encapsulated history of one of music’s most enigmatic singer/songwriters. All performances were fantastic, and the singing was possibly better than the originals.

Conclave pulls open the fictional curtain on the inner workings of electing the next pope. Fiennes gives an excellent performance as the one chosen to manage the process in selecting the next cardinal to replace the recently passed former Pope.
To this viewer, the movie illustrates the fact that the Vatican is more political entity and large corporation than religious center for Catholics, but does not disparage.
