  I don’t think I have ever despised, or have been disgusted with a character as much as Commodus. I guess that shows the dedication and commitment of acting that Joaquin Phoenix brings to this character. 

  Commodus is Rome’s biggest problem and man child of the movie. He constantly desires the centre of attention and is filled with lust, ignorance, jealousy, and insecurity…….and…..bro wants his sister 🤮. He definitely does not possess the virtue of temperance.
