  Holds this crazy tension throughout most of the movie and then at a certain point just sort of lets go of it.

  enjoyable, although it’s basically just the comic book but less cool since it lacks the style of Mazzucchelli’s illustrations. 

  also the guy who voiced Batman kinda just seemed really bored the whole time.

  Dr No is a dull start to the franchise. It employs the usual style over substance approach of the series but without any of the style. Each of the Bond films that immediately follow it are more interesting.

  Really great.
  I honestly preferred the story of the first movie. Something about that dynamic between the disillusioned and bored Peter Parker and Miles, who still had a lot of hope and excitement about the prospect of being Spider-Man was really interesting to me and IMO was the crux of the first film’s story. The story in this movie is more straight-forward in-your-face comic-booky type stuff.
