I'm a log time Hitchcock fan, so I went in knowing there would be some things that I liked. But this movie is exceptional in showing the slow and methodical planning of the perfect murder. And then, of course, it doesn't go as planned. All of the actors gave great performances.

This movie has a lot of flaws. The acting is horrible. The writing is pretty bad, too. But it is a whole lot of fun. If you want Shakespeare then go somewhere else. If you want skydiving, surfing, goofy lines, and 90s hair then you've come to the right place, Brah.

I really did not know what to expect when I started this film. I associate Jordan Peele with comedy, but even a lot of the sketches in Key & Peele were cinematic. What I got was a pretty scary thriller. The plot borrows heavily from some of the "cult centered" movies of the 80s but it puts a new spin on the old tropes and makes you really wonder how it's going to turn out. Highly recommend!

Did you love Bad Santa? Did you like Billy Bob's relationship with the kid? Do you still quote the movie? Yeah, me too. You'll be disappointed with this one. Thornton is phoning it in. The kid is grown now and just over-the-top pathetic. The whole plot makes no sense. There are a few chuckles but just stick with the original.
