For a film that has a shitload of characters and plotlines going on, it managed to keep itself nicely organized and easy enough to follow.
**SPOILERS**
That ending really kept it from becoming a great film. It felt too much like this was two films that they decided to smash together, removing the beginning of one and the end of the other. I hate unnecessary cliffhangers in television shows, and throwing one here felt like a cheap trick to keep the story from reaching any sort of closure because "it's edgy and cool and that's what all the popular HBO shows do now".

Phantom Thread 2017
PTA delivers one of his finest films to date. Impeccably paced thanks in part to Jonny Greenwood's soaring musical score that glides alongside the lovely cinematography.
