  Wicked is such a colorful and whimsical musical, but also so sad when you really think about it. The character development is incredible. I really loved Elphaba—there’s just something about her strength and struggles that made me connect with her so much. She deserved better.

  i think the movie wants us to believe that everything she did was self sacrificial, that while she 'made mistakes' she still loved her son and wanted the best for him, but i feel like the movie failed to convey this she was immature selfish & downright annoying
