  Working at a movie theater means seeing Wicked nearly 2 months after its release. 

  Spellbinding sets, costumes, and hair. I love that there was time and attention taken to make practical sets and rely on artists to create such a magical world without resorting to digital recreation. Practical sets are quickly becoming a rarity in mega movies that make millions like this, so it is nice to see such care was taken to ground the story into something that felt…

  I appreciate the over-the-top exaggeration of a hacking sequence that was. I firmly believe the talented and unstoppable Rachel Zegler could hack like that in real life and become an expert in .2 seconds

  Chernobyl: The Lost Tapes 2022

  I watched this after watching Craig Mazin’s Chernobyl, and it is very interesting to see two different ways of how this accident and catastrophe incurred. Both brilliantly well done. 

  My favorite quote from the HBO Chernobyl show that I feel encapsulates this all so well is Jared Harris’s Valery Legasov quote from episode 5: “Every lie we tell incurs debt to the truth. Sooner or later that debt is paid.”
