Tampopo 1985
Watched this again because it’s a film I’ll watch a few times a year. One of my favourite pieces of cinema. It’s got everything you could want in a film and more. I remember the first time watching this and thinking to myself “I wanna make films like this if ever I make them”.

Under the Skin 2013
First of all, Jonathan Glazer is a G! His vision for this film and how it came to life is 👌🏾🤌🏾. The score is so freaky! It gave me goosebumps and made me feel cold. The film goes against the rules of cinema and we love that. You can do whatever the fuck you want when you make a film and Jonathan knows this.
Watching humans through the lense of an alien made me question if maybe I’m from another…

Poor Things 2023
I loved this. Laughs were many. The sets are proper sets; something you would see at the theatre. The backdrops transport you to someone’s dream. The writing comes from a place of playfulness and the acting is brilliant. If you love Yorgos Lanthimos’s work then I’m sure you’ll dig this one.
A wild role for Emma Stone and big ups to her. She went in! She gave her whole body and so much more to this character.
