Between the Zarrindast's warm and intimate cinematography, and the slightly humorous interplay between documentary & narration, I was enamoured. Though it has been 3 decades since the film was released, Kiarostami’s investigation into authenticity, identity and multiplicitous existence feels timeless and timely, to me.
