Must be the season of the mid. If you can't handle things happening because it happened, you will hate this. I personally think it's paced impeccably, so if you have any interest in watching, I would.

Alien: Romulus 2024
I think this movie has cemented its place as the middest Alien to date. Like watching something while someone jabs you in the side saying "you get it?" over and over. I have a ton of subjective stuff that I think only I hate about the movie (one of them was going with older tech. Yeah, shoot me), but I think this is the movie that needed to be made. It was safe and it's got Alien in people's mouths again. My hope is that the next installment springboards off of this and actually does something interesting.

This. Movie. Needs. To. Be. More. Accessable. Old Boy is kinda hard to get a hold of a physical release, and damnit that needs to change. This may be against Letterboxd's TOS, but check this shit out.
Old Boy is a ride, and I loved every bit of it. It's crazy how fresh a move from 20 years ago feels, but I guess that's nothing new at this point. I would not hesitate to give this a watch if you're into intense action/thrillers.
