I really wanted to like this, but it just fell a bit flat for me. There were a lot of aspects I really liked: Florence and Andrew have amazing chemistry and played their characters so well. It was romantic with a bittersweet undertone, which is one of my favorite kind of movies.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 2024
It is always fun to be transported to land of spooky make believe from the mind of Tim Burton. Also, the cast was wonderful (familiar and new faces alike). I’m sure I didn’t catch all the Easter eggs, but the ones I did were fun.
I wished that the story wasn’t so similar to the original, and it felt like there was too many plots happening at once. It kind of came together at the end, but less satisfying than I wanted it to be.
