yea this was insane she explored the struggles of women in terms of public appearance and fear of judgment and aging so well and i personally loved that it was so visceral and so uncomfortable at times bc it’s true, we take sooo much from older generations without considering the effects it has on them. last scene was kinda mad tho still dk what that was about but i’m a fan of the shock factor

INCREDIBLY beautiful movie and so fulfilling to see malayali representation done so well in so many avenues. the themes of love and honesty and female friendship and generational connection UGH absolutely incredible. this movie made me feel so seen and heard and valued and the pure tenderness that runs through the whole thing, my heart is just running over with love and pride and softness 💗
