This movie gorgeously promotes the richness of intentionality while simultaneously providing captivating spaces that grant the viewer similar conditions of mindfulness. Wenders does this all without compromising reality, embracing the notion that routine contentment doesn’t free anyone from sadness, frustration, or loss, but it does still promise that routine contentment and a lasting healthy harmony from which life’s subtleties can be savored.
