“If the rule you followed brought you to this, what use was the rule?”
I know it’s the whole point, but disappointed with the ending. I understood all the things we were meant to understand I think, google search/second watch inbound, but the duality of man. Fear. Western advancement. Means to an end. Enjoyed it! No score was great.
Set up is looking promising.
Fighting for the seat at the table metaphor was great. Love the underlying themes here, and love the set up for the future Marvel world, but was underwhelmed. There is no doubt that Anthony Mackie is Cap though.

This movie gave me lots of nostalgia for the first film, and Ridley Scott is nary an amateur, so this film impressed me, and what a tie in to the first. Paul Mescal was very impressive, and visually this part of the duo is definitely more appealing color wise. (ALSO: Denzel. Nuff Said.)
