Searching 2018
Saw this in a class last year. I personally enjoyed it. It kinda felt like someone saw “Unfriended” or “Megan is Missing” and thought “hey, I could totally do better.” While a somewhat basic mystery storyline honestly, there were some twists that surprised me; and the format was well done and felt less gimmicky, so I felt like it was fresh. I was cool with 80% of the performances, too.

Absolutely in love with the voice overs. A film that feels beautifully understated. The feelings of 5 people in a way growing up felt very emotional and sentimental in a way I couldn’t necessarily pinpoint; it drew me into be moment.
