After months of refusing to watch this movie, i finally gave in. I feel that there is truly a deeper meaning to the movie, and the depiction of the minions also represents people throughout history who blindly follow those in power. For being a kids movie I genuinely got plenty of laughs, and i also discovered that minions have butt cracks. I really wasn’t sure if it was like completely smooth down there or what. I can appreciate many elements of the movie, like the setting being san francisco, and the new main minion being fat and having a lisp, but the minions did let me down this time. Phoebe Bridgers covered “Goodbye to Love” by the Carpenters for this movie, but they played the original song in the movie. That was really not cool so i docked a star. I think the part of the movie i really enjoyed was the audience, everybody dressed for the occasion and people were clapping and very involved. In a movie theatre full of people, one thing brought us together: The Minions.
