writing this after i let the movie sit in my mind for a bit.. it’s kind of funny how much of myself i saw in look back.the way fujino’s entire motivation revolved around a singular person and the feeling of being overshadowed no matter what you try is something i can understand on such a personal level…..the scene where she just gives up is very real as well since she ends up going back to art anyway.somewhere down the road…
