  It's fascinating how everything works despite the fact that it shouldn't be working at all. This is the mark of a great director.
  Also, baby face Miranda Cosgrove steals the show.

  Shot like a TV-movie. It annoys me to be able to see this in cinema when my only option to see The Tale is on my TV. The only thing interesting here is the fact that Daniah de Villiers can be/act this close of a lion and that the film was shot in a two and a half year span in order to establish a trusting relationship and a real bond between Daniah and Thor (the white lion). Aside from that, not really much to save here (although you can still save your money).

  Et le César du meilleur acteur est attribué à.. Alex Lutz! Impressionnant, criant de vérité dans ce rôle de star vieillissante de la variété française. L'idée (pas révolutionnaire certes) de tourner ce film sous la forme d'un "documentaire" fonctionne très bien. Au fur et à mesure que Gauthier (Tom Dingler) fréquente et apprend à connaître ce père dont il ignorait tout, il lui apparaît de plus en plus attachant de la même manière qu'il nous apparaît plus attachant.
  Je suis presque déçu que Guy Jamet n'existe pas vraiment, même si dorévavant, il vivra à jamais aux côtés d'Alex Lutz.
