Dialogue felt a bit corny and unnatural. Good acting. Plot is ab cheaters cheating on each other. Didn't hate it but didn't get it fully, maybe. Every character reeked of something; the immorality and selfishness of them all made me feel dirty like I was covered in sewage water. Even more so as the fear that this wickedness was commonplace in this world loomed over me. Wouldn't recommend or watch it again, but don't regret watching it, strangely.
Like a long term situationship that makes you feel like you guys could walk down the aisle on some days, but flat out ghosts you in others; challengers was a conflicting film that was both iconic yet lackluster at the same time.

My first Indian film and I'm in love. A perfect harmony of fairytale-like fantasy and raw social commentary. A criticism of academic competition and its negative effect on individuals seems obvious and overdone, yet is handled beautifully and with an unapologetically child-like free spirit that allows one to find elements of pleasant surprise in direction within the familiarity of the subject.
