starting to not like this trump fella

strong and stan are masters of the game man. strong as cohn commands the screen and the movie is noticably weaker when he's not there, but stan's trump is really really good too.

the marvel teases for his presidency were a little much, like idk if we needed trump looking at a reagan era make america great again pin and smiling but ig you kinda have to.

one interesting thing i noticed is…

watched clips from this movie cause i was feeling down and now im getting teary eyed. thinking about the land.  all we need is community and the land. fuck the police and the land developers they are evil but even the idiot police officer can become a real human being through a)community and b) the land.

need to watch more tamil movies. this Vijay Sethupathi guy is a pretty good actor ik everyone knows that but i didn’t grow up watching tamil movies so im just finding out how much this guy rules

seeing Willem Defoe appear in a movie is like a warm hug…

"im taking such good care of my little white boys"

a servicable drama that can turn into some of the most heartpounding cinema i've ever seen on a dime. whole 3rd act(?) is pure electricity. the leg break scene actually sent my body into fight or flight response.

recommend turning captions on to hear a lot of the side chatter cause it's really interesting. a tv announcer says in the background of the scene that the girl tashi played in…
