  I have a love/hate relationship with Mr. Nolan. He’s a brilliant guy and makes incredibly complex movies. Sometimes, he goes too complex to where he loses the core of a story… emotion. I think he balanced it extremely well. I now regret the original two-star rating I gave it based on a contrarian bias and my 9-year-old self’s recollection of my first experience with this movie. Fantastic film.

  What a ride. The cast, especially Guy Pearce, did a phenomenal job and the black and white sections of this film look freaking beautiful.

  Guys, this is high key a masterclass in storytelling and character development. It’s not a film for the faint of heart though. Be ready to invest your mind and emotions in this movie otherwise you wont enjoy it. Great film
