It’s a beautifully directed film with solid performances, shot on anamorphic lens (my favourite). There are truly some stunning sunset and sunrise shots. Patience is quite a compelling character. Her inability to speak makes her vulnerable but there’s something defiant and intimidating in her shiny eyes.

I’m disappointed that the story is not as rich as the visuals. I thought there would be more development in the gypsy storyline and the romance between Patience and Rumi. But the moment Patience…

Excellent storytelling and Oscar-worthy performances set in a fascinating culture. I may have to watch it again to pick up on anything I missed because this film packed a lot. It's a long film but I would gladly watch this again.

I wish Nolan could take notes on this regarding music [Oppenheimer]. There’s very little music in ‘Killers…’ yet I remained hooked throughout. Hmm, it's as if silence could be more effective than endless trailer music... 🤔

I would love to be on a movie set built to look like a moon. I’m not one to ask for sequels, but I think a follow up would be very interesting.

An interesting, likeable woman who prioritises her passion over fame. Sadly the way it's edited is dull with cutaways that feel like filler.

Oscar-worthy: it's fine as a nominee but I don't see it as the winner.

Grizzly, beautifully filmed series that feels like an extended version of 'The Revenant' (same writer so that makes sense). The cast is brilliant, they blend so well in this brutal world. Dane DeHaan and Jai Courtney are the only actors I'm familiar with and they are unrecognisable. The costumes and makeup are so good, I can barely look at Dane DeHaan's shaved scalp and red eye. I love Shea Whigham's witty dialogue, though I wish I didn't need to put…

Some of the performances make the movie compelling enough, but I feel like some of story plots are undeveloped. The plot of the two brothers is especially odd. Why do we switch from the older brother to the younger brother wanting Sandra’s head? Rather than show lots of flashbacks of the sisters together, the script should focus more on the development of the support characters. Also, I find it strange that Sandra is supposed to be the big sister of…
