Mother Jugs and Speed is an often hilarious injection of 70s grit, funk and unapologetic comedy with a side of violence and mayhem. This could be viewed as kind of spiritual prequel to Bad Lieutenant. Harvey Keitel's character is a disgraced ex cop paramedic who probably could have made his way back to policing in New York at some point. I enjoy watching this movie with that thought in mind. Anyways, speaking of disgraced this movie also stars Bill Cosby. So your mileage may vary. The movie is a trip. When's the 4k release coming out?
