unintentionally hilarious. an utter failure of a film, but at least its a fascinating one. and to its credit - i was never bored and its ambition is somewhat admirable, even if the dialogue is unbelievably clunky and the third act is borderline unintelligible

havent seen a contemporary film that reminded me so much of ‘mother!’ until today. sydney sweeney is terrific and the last act is depraved. only slight gripe i have is that there are a number of unnecessary jumpscares in the first fourty minutes or so - the film functions best in its second half when it delves into grisly and gory psychological terror. undeniably had a great time with this though!
