  Fun, silly, and heartfelt time with sensuous egg yolks and hot, non-lukewarm ramen!

  Minus the oyster scene and how young the girl looked, I found some of the gender politics very refreshing! as it’s a film made in the 1980s! It was so nice to see a film where a man genuinely just wants to help a woman fulfil her dreams and ambitions without anything in return.

  Shrimp scene was pretty prawn-ographic.

  Catholic papal elections, but make it succession, mean girls, and drag race (and I love these three things).

  This film is equivalent to an SSRI. Roz is an icon, there is character called phlegm, Mike is so romantic he might as well marry himself, they use odourant, and Sully hugging Boo makes me feel hugged too. Boo’s monster costume is giving drag race sewing challenge winner. Mike makes me crave sugar snap peas. Sully isn’t the step dad but the dad who stepped up.

  Also, the voice actor for Boo was so young/a toddler they had to follow her…
