  i feel like i need a rewatch. was almost taken aback at how simple and plotless this seemed on the surface but definitely is a subtly masked analysis on how hurt exists in different forms (except ofc david’s monologue which was a slap in the face incredible execution of that scene). i def related to david and his anxiety. thinking a lot about the opening and ending scenes… oh benji u sweet lonely boy

  What a wonderful, weird, and beautiful experience!!! Thoroughly enjoyed all the fantastical and metaphorical constructions of Craigslist and the immigration process. Bank of America was wild. Tilda Swinton was great, and following Ale’s character growth and hardships were so heartfelt.

  NOW THIS IS COMING OF AGE DONE RIGHT!!!! 

  What a movie that just feels like a warm hug. Immediately felt transported into simpler times of when I was 14 and the biggest things in life were just acne, mall hangouts, and if I was going to have any friends starting fresh at high school. did not know this was my own biopic on public display way too seen w that kissing tutorial 😶😶😶😶😶
