    beautiful, slow, brilliant.

    on the first day, I thought of my mom, years ago. every day, she'd pick me up from the playground by the school, we'd come home, the rice cooker already plugged in and the vegetables washed, and everything in order. everything would be the same, and in place, and anytime something was off, I felt it acutely. watching this, I thought: 'oh, I understand now'.

    the second day, I felt slightly horrified and uncomfortable about the disquieting moments…
