  A lot of good and a lot of bad. Some amazing shot, and some viciously cool scenes, but an almost absent story and very very clunky dialogue. Still worth it, though

  “This guy is on a ledge about to commit suicide. We have dozens of beat cops here, but let’s send up the homicide detective who is a well known antisocial douche who’s quick to violence so he can punch the guy in the face”.

  There’s essentially no plot, no character decisions make a lick of sense, and the whole thing seems to be about how much the director hates San Francisco in a weird and gross way. Great cinematography and action scenes, though
