    Watched for class.
Found it quite interesting but very hard to follow. It was an interesting look into aspects of the Maori tribe and post colonial new Zealand but I think it was trying to tell too many story's and do too many things. From reading other reviews I get the impression the colour has been restored but I found it was quite over saturated which was a bit off putting but this may just be due to its age and restoration.

    Mad Max: Fury Road

Basically this took me like 4 hours to watch i was so bored, i already dislike action but this was just absolute garbage shite. Wtf was actually going on

I like how the film focuses on the escape rather than the war itself a story told time and time again in film. This in some ways renews the war genre. It focuses much less on the action and fighting while still depicting that of war and the grievances it caused through its stylistic use of sound. Widows

Thought this movie qas slow and disengaging both times I have seen it.

This movie could do with 40 minutes taking out. Its very slow and fails to hook the audience. The trailer is far more interesting and engaging than the movie its self. I think it could have done with focusing much more on the women's heist than life before the husbands deaths. Hooking the audience in with the heist plot from the start and providing only the necessary context of pre-widowed life in flashbacks here and there.
