unfortunately christian bale could not even save this, just a total mess

so creative, funny, heartwarming, and all around great. michelle yeoh was amazing and ke huy quan was impossible not to love. certainly cheesy but it didn’t really bother me. the wong kar-wai references also made me very happy, the step printing shots>>>>

the best movie i’ve ever seen? probably not, but i still thoroughly enjoyed it!!

this was so so wholesome and i loved it so much!! everything about it made me feel so warm and cozy and i couldn’t stop smiling. it was beautifully shot and the colour scheme was so pretty. the soundtrack also fit perfectly. i did think it was a little slow at times, but the other aspects make up for it.

oh yes and isamu is literally one of the cutest kids i’ve ever seen and i would die for him🥺
