Blink Twice 2024
Don’t drink the Kool-Aid! But do see this movie. It had The Menu-esque vibes, but brought something fresh to the table. The cadence of this movie felt right. Appreciate that this film has an actual ending, which is risky, but paid off. Well done Zoë!

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes 2024
All hail Caesar!
This movie is an example of an action/drama done well. Were there a couple moments that were a bit melodramatic that made me slightly cringe? Sure- but this is a movie starring monkeys and I had one beer in me so all was forgiven. The pacing worked, and the CGI and script all came together. Dare I say- I was moved.
So move over Dev Patel- there is a new Monkey Man in town and his name is Noa.
