  Loved getting to see the origin of so many classic horror tropes. Also fun to see how acting has evolved along with camera equipment. I’ll forever be thinking about the opening shot, though.

  Really good combination of sounds and camera work. No bothersome holes in the storyline. The detectives are basically the Weasley twins with a Liam Gallagher slant, which is beautiful. The whole movie takes place “across the pond” but gives off small town Indiana vibes. I liked the way he orders cranberry juice because it reminds me of how I always ordered grapefruit juice at Village Inn. I’m allergic now though. :(
