  Another beautiful and touching film from Adam Elliot.

  Something that I find very special about his films is the way that he shows unabashedly, the uncomfortable, sometimes shameful, sometimes repugnant sides of characters in a way that accepts them as a whole person, without eschewing the need for accountability and change.   Half the jokes are meant to be funny cause eastern european accent = funny 🤪
  Another batch of the jokes are meant to be funny cause girl fight back and actually maybe the three large men are more in danger from the feisty sex worker trying to get them off her 😱 (not!)

  This movie is so misunderstood!!
  For anyone who can't see the genuinely intelligent and ahead of its time feminist discourse, DO UR READING 😤😤

  A critique of toxic masculinity, a parody of the ridiculousness of seeing feminism as man-hating, an acceptance of housewives as feminists, a proactive discussion on uniting fragmented leftist groups for the greater good. Fourth-wave feminism needs to pay its respects goddamnit
