Conclave 2024
A beautiful film, providing an insight into a world we know little about. I had no idea what to expect and enjoyed the handling of pertinent issues faced within the Church, including the internal struggle that we may not associate with the Papacy. I loved the cinematography- the use of colour, the portraits, the Sistine chapel - but mostly, I loved the constant juxtaposition of modern and traditional, whether it was the cardinals pulling carry on’s or Tedesco (a staunch conservative) hitting his vape. Also, Ralph Fiennes is, as always, excellent.
