When I read 'The Goat Days' by Benyamin, I wondered how a Malayalam production could shoot that grandiose physical struggle of Najeeb. How could they make it riveting and grounded? How would they portray the terrifying dunes, the dreadful physical state of Najeeb, as well as their astonishing survival journey through the desert? Surprisingly , director Blessy and the cinematographer handled it perfectly, with no flaws, shattering my doubts.
