Rocky 1976
I reaaaaally didn't mess with a lot of this movie. I liked maybe the last 30 minutes? If I'm being generous? That and any Apollo Creed scene was good. However, the rest just seemed like rambling, character moments that made me be put off of the characters instead of liking them more, and a general lack of anything going on. It's not shot very well, it doesn't take too much advantage of the setting, and the first boxing match was not fun to watch. Like, I'm not asking for a generic action movie here, but this movie just embodies the word ugly.

Ever since this movie came out, I've always felt drawn to the movie in a weird way. From just looking at the poster, I thought that there was *something* here that is different, *something* that I would just love. But never in my wildest dreams did I imagine to experience a movie this good.
The performances here are some of the best anywhere. The themes of the movie are ones that almost every single person can relate…

Prisoners 2013
Well made, but I think with a plot based movie like this, you need an air tight story and a fantastic cast of characters. And while sometimes I felt like I experienced this, other times I felt like I watched an extreme amount of buildup for minimal payoff. And the last scene felt out of place.
