Bob Trevino Likes It 2024
Couldn’t find the words last night, but this really made me believe in movies again. Ferreira and Leguizamo are both phenomenal in this incredibly personal, heartfelt story. Shout out to French Stewart as well, who is also great.
The portrayal of trauma, mental illness, and abuse just feels so real and honest, without feeling cynical. Definitely will be thinking about this one for a while. Easy movie of the year so far.
