Mulholland Drive 2001
the epitome of his work. definitely david lynch at his most david lynch. there are a lot of carefully planned themes and messages that feel really feel paid off by the end. roughly 80% of the movie has you in an odd world soap opera but the last bit really throws you in a whirlwind. the environment of lynch’s los angeles is dreamy ( in an evil dark la la land kind of way). the film is definitely worth the watch just for it’s style and camerawork alone.
