I never thought these actors would work together so well. This film has a lot of heart and is hilarious, even at the most inappropriate moments, and it just works. Why does Steve Carell look so good in this? Paul Dano has had the chops since day one. I thought Bryan Cranston showing up was crazy and then Dean Norris showed up.

Ford v Ferrari 2019
I would consider myself a James Mangold truther but even I was surprised at how much more I enjoyed this compared to his other films. I’ve never really cared about cars but I think this film altered the chemical balance in that part of my brain. I desperately need Christian Bale in more roles where he can use his natural accent. I couldn’t put my finger on where I knew Leo Beebe’s actor from but then I remembered he was Craig McDermott in American Psycho which I just watched the other day. If I’m not careful, Josh Lucas might be my most watched Actor in 2025.
