I’m pretty tired of Anderson at this point. Good last 3 movies have been so boring and self indulgent they’ve been difficult to sit through.
The “ model symmetry” thing has gotten painfully old and the fact that he refuses to write actual characters anymore is just annoying.
The dialogue and overall story totally forgettable. I felt like i almost walked out a few times.
The movie isn’t horrible, still very pretty to look at and aesthetically pleasing especially if you’re into 1950s Americana, but that’s as far as this film goes for me. Also, I think Wes might be allergic to black people.
