  Cinematography was great. Performances were great, especially Mikey Madison. Really enjoyed the first act but the rest of it didn’t really land for me. I think Anora’s character needed more development. Her internal motivations weren’t clear to me. Why does she so desperately want to be with this guy who doesn’t care about her? Maybe some more exploration of her personal life would have helped here. The movie also dragged on a bit at times. The ending didn’t really feel earned to me.
  Still enjoyed it overall and had some good laughs but felt a little let down.

  Bizarre and beautiful movie. Amazing performances, score, set and costume design. Deeply philosophical and uncomfortable. Mark Ruffalo is hilarious.
