Hay una escena entre el padre y la madre discutiendo, y puedes ver cuán emocionalmente cerrado se encuentra él, hasta que ella se marcha cerrando la puerta y cómo desesperado él se larga a llorar. La sutileza de esa escena es algo que me hubiese gustado ver más durante el resto de la película.

It's weird because this film sort of focused in all the aspects of an addiction that are easy to realise and imagine, and then used jump cuts for all the bits I would have wanted to see. The couple was lovely, but I didn't see honest emotions, or well developed supporting roles. The more I think about it the less rating I feel it deserves, despite being a topic worth seeing in any film. Sharing a story of overcoming our fears and shortcomings is always a good thing, period. This film just didn't made me feel anything I haven't felt or realised before.
