  Their relationship is a bit awkward but special at the same time. The visuals and aesthetics of the film are beautiful. The storyline was stagnant and the buildup up their relationship was abrupt, yet in some ways I can see how many people enjoy this, as the awkwardness makes it more authentic.

  Bill Murray is a really random choice for that character.

  The writing of this movie is insane. Fluid dialogue, exceptional performances from both Matt Damon and Robin Williams, and a perfectly emotional yet also comedic script.

  But the chemistry between the two is what really pieces it together — that, and its exploration of psychological themes, which is my personal favorite.

  No wonder it won an academy award for best writing😭😭😭
